Works very well. I had an issue after the first few days where it wouldn't fully connect to my phone. I updated the firmware, no change, and finally restarted my iPhone and everything has been fine ever since. It takes a bit to sync but usually when I start the car the backup and display changes from my rear camera to normal display, everything is connected and working. What I wasn't prepared for was a solid 3 second delay from the moment you press a button on the car screen until your selection is registered on your phone, or the same delay before your selected track starts playing. I wired this up in a 2018 Honda CRV. It's ready to use right out of the box with no firmware upgrade or troubleshooting required. I don't see any blue flashes around the icons described by others, no delays when connecting, launching and running applications. Tried on my 2018 GMC Sierra Denali 1500. Delivered faster than I expected. I received it about 4 days early. It works out. The firmware was already updated before opening. It disconnects when it should and reconnects very quickly so far. I plugged it in under the center console and it still seems to connect fine.
