I use 1440p on my main monitor and remotely connect to various computers around the house as I hate extending 1080p laptop displays on my endpoint. any remote machine and is only worth a fraction of the 4KFit accessory I bought a few years ago for the same purpose. BONUS: My new work laptop, a 10th gen i7 computer, actually upscales the 1080p display to the *key* resolution connected to HDMI, which is something I've never seen before. The LCD screen is sharp and natural quality enough for all day if I don't mind squinting.
