This humble tool is a life saver and I can't believe I went without it for so long. I used to use a razor blade to scrape the sealer off, which was messy, time consuming and could damage my countertops. I had to be very careful. However, this tool saves me from worrying about damage due to the shape of the tip. It cuts the sealant without cutting into the surface. It's perfectly contoured to fit my hands and I can press down firmly to really scrape the seal off the first time. I like the minimal packaging and the comfortable grip. Easy to clean. I even removed some of the hardened grout. It is not designed to remove mortar or grout and I think the bad reviews are due to ignoring that fact or using the tool as a striking tool. The seal is soft and this tool removes it very easily. Even small details are important: this tool has an integrated loop at the end to attach it to a tool belt or tool ring or just to hang it from my tool bench. Would buy again!
