Review on iRobot Roomba 891 Robot Vacuum Cleaner - Wi-Fi Connected, Alexa Compatible, Perfect for Removing Pet Hair, Ideal for All Floor Types by Joseph Montes

Always wanted a rumba since I found out what they do. For multiple pet owners, cleaning their hair every day is hard work. Especially if you have a special foster dog (Corgi) that sheds all over the place. I finally managed to get my first Roomba for Prime Day and I was SUPER excited that it arrived a day earlier than expected. The instructions are very easy to follow. There is 1 page (double-sided) paper with step-by-step instructions. Probably like 6 steps to customize your room that comes with pictures and you don't have to read long useless paragraphs explaining everything that isn't needed. Very simple and of course if you want to know more about it there is an instruction manual. Charged my Roomba and got a notification that it was ready to go. I started my first cleanse cycle and watched my kids go crazy! My dog ran and barked at him while one of my cats hid in the closet and the other followed him the ENTIRE grooming cycle. To be honest it was a lot of fun. I was afraid it would be difficult to connect cables/wires as we had a network cable running across the living room. He honestly went through the cable with no problems. It also transitioned from hardwood to carpet very smoothly. I never caught it where I had to run and adjusted it. He made everything himself and I was even MORE surprised that he even got to places I didn't think he could find since he spent a decent amount in my living room and ended up making it into my bedroom. What was even more surprising, what I never knew, was that he chose to return to his "loading dock/home" when he was ready. To be honest I expected it to stop somewhere halfway and I had to pick it up and take it home like your best friend for her 21st birthday. Overall I would highly recommend this room. This is my first Roomba so I can't really compare it to other models or brands but I definitely think it's the best investment I've made in a long time. He certainly cleaned my apartment very well and it wasn't as noisy as I expected. I did the first cleaning cycle at 10pm and it took me 44 minutes to clean my apartment. Oh, and the great thing is that it can be controlled via an app, so you can just lie in bed across the room and have it cleaned for you. What's more, you can schedule him to clean your house every day of the week! How cool is that? Fun Fact: You can give your Roomba a name so you can connect it to WiFi. I named my "Cat Bus" LOL and the garbage robot is called "Poop Shipper". Just to have a little laugh.
