They replaced my Harbor Freight set, one of which broke when I was drilling through a standard household junction box. There used to be a video on YouTube of a DeWalt Impact Ready treadle drill showing them drilling through a quarter inch slab like it didn't mean anything. I used one of these to drill through the steel frame of my pickup truck with a Bosch impact wrench. I had to drill a few large holes when installing the hitch. Before using, I pre-drilled the holes according to the assembly instructions. He carved this material without much effort. I was amazed at how easy it was. I used to drill a steel frame with regular drill bits and it's not easy. It will make you say "uncle" it's so hard. There are two things (for me at least) that make a set better. The dimensions are a little hard to read as they aren't engraved very deeply and it would be nice to have a pocket for storage. I'm glad I have them and would buy them again without hesitation.
