'99 Forester L - Sub-optimal fit
I bought this Cat system to replace my expired OE system and it will last in all respects but not as well , as you would have wished. The compression ring is too bulky which doesn't provide a perfect fit and good luck installing the rear spring bolts because I couldn't. I had to use new bolts with old springs, which again is far from ideal. The head side bolts are too big to even go through the head tie plate so you need to recycle those old bolts. Due to a bad installation, this solution will be temporary for me until I can get a full exhaust from a trusted brand.
