These skids, which I bought to protect the stove and sink floors, carry over my vinyl plank floors. I don't mind any of this and will buy a non-stick liner if it matters, but it's not that big of a deal. I like the colors and the pattern - it's very bright. And honestly the quality is excellent for the price. I don't see the label that says they can be put in the washing machine. So when my 5 year old spilled a container of chillies on one of them, I used a wet vacuum and it cleaned up with no problem. I can put a bigger one in front of the door but I'm afraid slipping will be a bigger problem in a more open area. Overall I'm happy with these runners and if something happened to ruin them completely I wouldn't do it. Feel free to order them again. UPDATE - up to 3 stars. In less than a year the corners are bent in places and I'm starting to trip over them. Not what you want when working in the kitchen! I will try other runners instead of buying these again.
