Review on ACDelco Professional TF289 Auto Transmission by Lamar Marshall

A terrible transmission oil change went well with the right gasket and filter. Aside from the driveway being painted red with trans liquid, it was pretty easy. The kit that Advance tried to sell me had a rubber seal that I didn't trust. I cleaned the mating surfaces with a wire brush and brake cleaner. I also removed the magnets and cleaned the pan in the parts washer. The Delco version had a matching cork spacer that held the screws in place during installation and made it easy to screw them all in. Do not overtighten the screws as they may break. I tightened it to around 10 foot-lbs and everything was fine.
