Review on Aspen Pet Tieout Trolley Feet by Linda Wiley

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It lasts about a year, the dog has dismounted several times

The product is strong and reliable, but my dog somehow managed to pull away from it after 20 minutes. I think it was an accident but, luckily I look at her every 5 minutes or so (she is only 7 months old and can play pranks anywhere) and I can see that she was about 5 feet from the spot, on who usually passes them in the yard. . She looked amazed too! I walked out and she came right at me so it didn't do any harm but I was glad I do visual so often. I can only think that I must have hooked it up wrong. She fixed it all over the front yard for a while. So who knows what happened. But since it is a regular shutter, it has nothing to do with this particular cable and I am happy with my purchase. UPDATE: I've had it for a little over a year now and the cable coating has worn off in many places, the clasp is rusty and difficult to open. Not that expensive but I need to get another one. Also, my dog has gotten rid of it many times and after the first time I was very careful to always fasten it properly on her collar and I would say she found her way out of the clasp about every 2 or 3 months. Luckily I have a fenced in back yard now so I don't have to worry as much and luckily she doesn't run away so no damage has been done.
