I ordered a 6 x 9 cushion for a new shaggy rug I bought for my living room. At first glance a really good carpet. He is heavy and fat. This weekend I decided to unpack and lay out. But I immediately began to notice problems. First, it was MUCH larger than the advertised 72 x 108 inches. Its actual dimensions are 81 x 119 inches. That might be a plus for some, but the thought of cutting a straight line down this huge rug is extremely annoying. In the end I just pushed an extra surface under the furniture for the time being. Second, despite the weight, it slides and slides across my luxury vinyl floor. I can't believe this is advertised as non slip. Last but not least I got an itchy rash and nearly passed out from the fumes after messing with the carpet! I knelt on all fours on the bare carpet, trying to flatten it and straighten it. There was quite severe gas poisoning, so I got very dizzy. I stood up slowly and almost passed out. I had to take a break and sit. Then I moved the air purifier closer to the mat, turned on a few fans, and opened a few more windows. However, the air purifier was picking up fumes and the air quality indicator turned from blue to red, proving the fumes were heavy. While resting, I developed a rash (similar to the rash that can result from exposure to dust mites) on my forearms and feet, the two areas that touched the mat the most when I lay on it. I uploaded photos of a rash on my foot and forearm; The photo of the foot was taken immediately after washing the rash off with cold water, and the photo of the forearm was taken 30 minutes after I noticed the rash. It's been a few hours and I'm still itchy and dizzy. I do NOT recommend this rug! I will file a complaint and get rid of this thing before anyone else gets sick of it!
