This is a very good product. I bought a Kohler matte black faucet and drain set. I decided to keep the faucet because it worked great and fit in my bathroom, but the drain was a problem. The Kohler drain assembly had more plastic parts and leaked a little no matter how tight I tightened it. I'm not sure why the Kohler was leaking, but I assumed the drain was poorly designed and manufactured (the top diameter was deformed and didn't sit flush with the sink) and the foam pad didn't seem to work. I was frustrated and didn't want to return the whole set so I did some research and this product popped up. This product had more metal parts and appeared to be more durable than any gutter I have ever installed. The best part is that I didn't use any tools to install it. All seals were rubber or TPU. The tube and the drain valve are made of metal. Installation Tips: Install dry and see where the washer lines up and secure with teflon tape a few turns top and bottom. Then do a full install and hand tighten. Because of the Teflon, it is waterproof and does not need to be tightened with tools. Doesn't run at all and works very well! Installation took about 10 minutes. FYI it comes with a white foam pad for top padding and I didn't need it. So if taking it out is aesthetically pleasing, you can do it without the risk of a leak. Stops leaking, looks better and is better built than "Premium".
