After switching from Honda Accord to Subaru Forester we needed something to keep our 5 year old Golden Retriever in/from Subaru safe . We also wanted something compact but durable that wouldn't take up too much space in the car when not in use. These portable pet stairs were the answer. It took a few days of light training, plus her favorite cheese as a reward, but now she goes up/down without hesitation and the steps are steady/reliable. Our golden Abby weighs about 80 pounds and the steps don't bend or move when she stands on them. Recommend this product as a safe and reliable way to get your pet into an SUV or truck.
