Works very well. Installation is incredibly easy - just plug it into the drainpipe. The rubber flexes to allow easy sliding into a 2" drain pipe, but it seems to seal the pipe perfectly. Another reviewer said he has to take it off and clean it every 2-3 weeks - makes no sense. for a drain that is rarely used (I put this in a drain on my laundry floor that doesn't leak except in the event of a burst pipe or other rare problem.) Do not use this for your main shower which is used daily, it is not a drain plug or drain strainer. It is designed to prevent sewer gases from escaping the sewer, but most plumbing fixtures have a P-type siphon that retains water and isolates the outflow of sewer gases. so it is not necessary. I might use this in a guest shower in a bathroom that is only used once a month or so then the water in the P-trap can evaporate between uses. But a shower with such infrequent use shouldn't have a problem getting "dirty" and needing cleaning.
