In '07 Tacoma V6: Replacement Parts
I have this in my '07 Tacoma V6. It is difficult to assess how efficiently an oil filter is doing its job. It has synthetic mixed media and is rated 10K; Those are nice features, but they'll change around 8K. The PL prefix used to be called Pure One and came in a matte yellow case. it's now called the Purolator One and comes in a sleek blue case. I wouldn't be surprised if the current version comes out in 2012 when Mann+Hammel became the owner of Purolator. For a few bucks more I bought a boss for my next oil change.
