I spent a couple of weeks ordering and returning towels. Most were thin and rough. You were different. When I first received these towels I was very disappointed with the colour. I ordered them as a gift. The recipient specifically asked for burgundy towels. They were VERY red. I don't know if I can call them anything other than Crayola Reds. Looking back I see that the color matches the photos. I personally think the description should be more specific. This is the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars instead of 4. The texture was soft and plush. It was exactly the kind of material I was hoping for, which only added to my frustration. The plan was to return it, if only because of the color. I kept searching for the right towels and managed to order and try on another set. In the meantime, I've kept these towels a little longer than I intended...just too busy to return. My last order arrived and they were just as thin and chunky as the previous towels. Ba! The recipient loved the color of the last order...it was perfect, but the texture and feel...not the same at all. That's when I decide to pull out those red Crayola towels I used to lug around in my truck. The color was wrong but she liked the softness and quality. She tossed aside the coarse burgundy towels and said she was keeping these. These towels still won. I just wish the color was more true to its name. Red ≠ Burgundy. I would order these towels again in other colors.
