Considering the slightly higher price ($129.99) than other Dunham shoes, I expected a little more from these Dunham Litchfields in terms of quality and comfort. When I opened the shoe box, I was immediately disappointed. The leather feels more "plastic" than soft and supple like other less expensive Dunham shoes I've worn. To give you an idea, I've worn Dunham Mitchell (size 10EE) and Dunham Michael Chukka (size 10EE) for many years. I bought these shoes from Revain for $30 to $70 each. Both Mitchell and Michael Chukka feel very good. Both fit my feet perfectly like they were made specifically for my feet. Also, the Mitchell leather was better in quality (although I have to admit this is very subjective). Also, this Lichfield seems to be slightly larger than my Mitchell and Chukka. Not enough for me to get her back. Just a little bigger. Nevertheless, Litchfield is a very good shoe.
