The base seems strong enough, easy to use
I also bought a Brunwish juicer to compare to this one and ended up keeping that one. The Brunwish lid didn't seem to make the process any easier. The base seems solid enough to deploy, but I wouldn't trust it to withstand multiple drops to the ground. A minor annoyance is if you're using an external extender, it's a bit of a hassle to take it off to remove the pulp when rinsing the device. This doesn't work very well if you only use a small sweep. But I would still recommend another manual juicer. I just wish I could find a good non-plastic reamer.
