Makes good pictures. I struggle to focus it and end up missing/missing shots. The fact that you can't select a mode (e.g. sunset) also makes the camera a disadvantage. What makes this camera 2 stars is the flimsy and difficult to open battery/memory card door. It will break and break soon. Something that's fragile and cheaply constructed shouldn't be difficult to open and close either. There's no excuse for such a bad design trait (which seems to get worse with each PowerShot generation). Canon should be ashamed.
