Review on Topeak Joe Blow Sport III: Ultimate High Pressure Floor Pump for Efficient Inflation by Jimmy Scaturro

I don't know why it has such rave reviews. I find it very difficult to connect the pump head to the valve and I broke the rods on the hoses trying to get the head into the locked position. If you don't have long inner tubes, I think it will be impossible to inflate the tires. It takes a lot of effort to get it properly seated on the valve stem so it doesn't leak when pumping. In short, I hate this pump. My father bought a cheap pump from a store many years ago that only had a valve stem pump head that worked by simply slipping it over the valve. I'll keep using it and think I'll figure out the "trick" but there's no trick and I'll go back to using pumps I bought at a flea market for next to nothing.
