This is the kind of chopper/handheld food processor that has been on my wish list for years. What a disappointment! Even if everything looks fine, I see not only a security risk, but also a difficult cleanup. I can see how useful this can be for a family that cooks a lot, but it's just as easy for one person to pull out a good knife and start slicing unless they're having fun. It's one of those small, portable devices that you probably take out in a closet two or three times a year. It seems quite versatile, but the downside is cleaning the blades when you're done using them - if you don't have a dishwasher, leave the cleaning to an adult in the house and watch your fingers! Directions are confusing. I was very discouraged.
