Review on 🌊 Inflatable Water Float Intex 58837EP River Run II Sport Lounge - Perfect for Water Relaxation, 95 1/2" x 62 by Randy Montiel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The first impression is positive.

We just received the Intex 58837EP River Run II Sport Lounge Inflatable Water Float and I wanted to share my first impressions. A - The float material seems quite strong and should hold up well. This is not a high quality rapid material, but it is suitable for tubing a relatively calm river. I inflated the entire float (all 5 air chambers) in less than 5 minutes. B - Here are some dimensions not listed anywhere (inflated float): 1) The radiator is 10" in diameter and 10" in depth. (I think my future will be a 10" x 8" round canister - fill bottom with water - freeze.) - BTW - the cooler sits slightly above the float bottom and has a bottom drain plug that drains the water right out. Cooler. 2) Average storage area measures 16 inches long, 9 inches wide and 6 inches deep (Looks like Tupperware's search is fine.) 3) Seats are 24 inches in diameter and the mesh floor sits about 4 inches over the bottom of the tube. 4) Cup holders are 2-1/4" in diameter and 2-1/2" deep. This means a 12 ounce can will go in the holder but Kuzi cannot be used. A kuzi drinking bottle fits in a holder, but many areas do not allow the use of glass. So plan accordingly. 5) The tube measures almost 88 inches long, 55 inches wide and 12 inches high when inflated. The backrests add an additional 8 inches to the overall height when inflated. C - The five airbags are as follows: 1) Main body 2) Back #13) Back #24) Radiator top 5) Radiator cover D - You will need a mattress. Air pump with 5/8 inch adapter for filling the main air chamber. They have both DC powered and manual powered pumps - I bought mine (Intex Double Quick III S) at Walmart for $10 - Revain currently offers the same pump as an add-on for $7.20. Too bad I didn't think of that when I ordered the float. The remaining 4 air chambers are standard squeeze and blow-fill connections. The Intex pump also has adapters that fit these fittings - wow! Tomorrow we will go to the river with friends and I will update my review with actual float report after we get back. 22/2017 This float withstood our 4 hour sailing on Coldcreek very well. As mentioned by other reviewers, it's hogs because it's so wide. I would suggest if you have someone carrying a float to the landing pad that you don't inflate the headrests until you arrive as they create the perfect spot to hold on to while loading or unloading. Our transport workers punctured one of the inflated headrests while loading. Not a big deal but it could have been avoided with a little more care. Very happy with the float and will be purchasing a 6 liter (10" diameter x 8" high) round storage tank to place in a cooler area to help. Isolate and hold the ice block.
