Any vacuum leak is always a problem. After 100,000 km, rubber seals wear out. That little elbow throbs with every rev up and down. But when a truck with a Magnum EFI engine has to make costly repairs because of a leak. Intake gasket, bad MAP sensor, AIC, TPS and O2 sensors. But not this little elbow? Stalls, misfires, won't start, rich conditions, rough idle, runs like garbage. If there are no codes, check the knee from the MAP sensor to the TB. If it spins freely or removes easily, it won't handle 20-25 PSIA at idle.
