Day Two - Fascination!

This is the first time I've used a scratch resistant surface to hide cat scratches on my medium oak dining table. The first day I used it I could still see some scratches. But after the second day they seemed to go away. What we did was apply a buff/scratch finish and wipe it off with a rag. Then another rag was used to remove the excess and polish the table. I threw away those two rags because I didn't want to put them in the washing machine and dry them. The next day, the husband polished the table again, only with a dry cloth. When I next sat down at the table, there were no visible scratches. There are two very deep scratches that this product doesn't seem to absorb and I'm not sure what type of material is underneath the oak veneer. But for the most part I'm very happy with the results. If you want to make your desk shine during the day, this might work for you too. I've also tried it on bookshelves and kitchen cabinets and they really shone for a day or so when it seems to have evaporated or faded. I thought I would just have to buy a new dining table but now I think I can wait a little longer as it looks great now. Review by Rebecca PS The scratches started reappearing after a week so this may need to be applied weekly.
