I listen to a great radio show every morning. Okay, this is Chris Plante from DC. I have this radio in my living room like in the 'old days', it matches my mid-century decor, and I set the clock radio to come on every day at the start of the show. It turns me on in the mornings as a political news junkie and retired radio host in Washington. This is actually a replacement radio for an identical unit that died after three years of hard work. (I'm not interested in changes.) Hope this one lasts longer, but so far so good. Really great. The tuner pot is scratchy but I never tune it so big deal! The sound is also a bit tinny. But I'm used to it. Sounds like the radio I had in my room as a kid. So I recommend this radio to get news, talk and wake up on time. It looks old even though it's not one of those shitty "tribute radios".
