This product worked great right out of the box but my rating literally dropped to 1 star because of what happened afterwards . The device had some difficulties, the first time my computer went to sleep, came back the next day, everything seemed fine, but the second time it did, no matter what I did with the reinstall, found drivers, whatever always, it just didn't stay connected all the time. It just kept disconnecting from the wifi, and despite amazing speeds, it didn't stay on long enough to even bother him. Beware of purchasing this product if you are using Windows 10 x64, Realtek has no driver support for you and you will wonder if it is hardware related or lack of driver support. Day 3: After lots of tweaking and research, I managed to get it working with Windows driver without installing any Realtek drivers. It's consistent and works well, so I'm increasing my rating to three stars, but just a warning, if you're using Windows 10, this product is likely to give you some pain. A week later: Back to 1 star, now no matter what I do, this product will not work. It turns off often and I will not recommend it. Probably great for old cars, terrible for new ones. You can't even use the 5GHz feature because if you disable QOS it just turns off.
