This is a good general purpose set of good brushes. I bought these to repair an expensive brush that I let dry and dry. Brush? Give it a small amount of pipe cleaner in a jar, add water and let it sit for a few days. The pipe cleaner will loosen the hardened paint. Rinse with hot water and then comb with this wire brush. My ruined expensive brush is ready to paint again! Natural hair brushes may not work. Use them not only to repair brushes, but also to clean rusty sheet metal. Good deal!
