I don't think it's as durable as I was hoping. I used it once to clean a car battery terminal and the brush is already deformed. The brush still works, I was just surprised that it deformed after a light use.

These sturdy little brushes are perfect for removing all rust from my tools etc. I have used them with the organic rust remover available from Revain. I think I'll pick up my favorite little scoop next! Admittedly, I have no idea why I need a shiny garden shovel.

Steel brush for removing paint from a concrete curb (after treating the paint with a chemical thinner). It worked well enough, but in my opinion it started shedding stubble and stopped working too soon. Brass brushes aren't needed yet, but I'm sure they'll come in handy for a lighter project.

We used these brushes to remove rust from a pile of old weights (before and after soaking in vinegar solution). The brushes worked well and lasted our hours of cleaning. Eventually the bristles started to bend and crumble from being scrubbed really hard, but they were usable until the job was done.

I wasn't expecting them to be very good but I wanted something cheap to clean oil from my car's engine and figured I wouldn't need them after that as if they would last a few uses.

This is a good general purpose set of good brushes. I bought these to repair an expensive brush that I let dry and dry. Brush? Give it a small amount of pipe cleaner in a jar, add water and let it sit for a few days. The pipe cleaner will loosen the hardened paint. Rinse with hot water and then comb with this wire brush. My ruined expensive brush is ready to paint again! Natural hair brushes may not work. Use them not only to repair brushes, but also to clean rusty sheet metal. Good deal!
