Well done, every detail.
Hopefully we'll never need it, but it's nice to know we have it in our life jackets! I gave it 4 stars because it does NOT come with any helpful instructions, although a full manual is available on their website, the packaging and tiny instructions don't tell you that! There are many details in it, but it's not clear how they fit together.
- Unlike a Personal Locator Beacon that warns of orbiting Search and Rescue satellites, AISLink sends an alert to all local vessels with an AIS receiver and/or AIS-enabled chartplotter in seconds.
- There are other interesting options.
