I wore and tested this shoe mainly when hiking. The shoes are very light and yet super robust. A great and important combination. Although the sole does not go over the ankle or cover it, the shoe gives me a pleasant and important stability when hiking. What is striking is the fact that the shoe must first be broken in before you can feel the full comfort. In addition, this heel area is also well padded. The sole is actually the highlight of the shoe. This really is incredibly durable and has an excellent profile. The material and the workmanship are consistently high quality. The only thing that's a shame is that the shoe isn't waterproof. It doesn't tend to be a big problem, but it would have been nice. nothing springy enough. This is of course very individual and a matter of taste, but when I run I simply need shoes with more cushioning in the sole than this model can give me. This shoe is definitely well suited for speed hiking, but I wouldn't say so for trail running. Value for money is good. All in all, a top shoe that knows how to convince with comfort and quality!
