Review on ๐Ÿ“ฑ Dockem Koala Tablet Wall Mount: Universal Adhesive Dock for iPads, Galaxy Tabs & More (Black Version) by Sri Mims

Works best for me in computers and accessories

I have a white set in my shower to hold an iPad mini to watch TV in the shower (news) to stream. I separately purchased the special 3M Command easy-to-remove strips designed for high humidity areas. Although the iPad Mini is very light, I didn't want it to fall about 5 feet onto the shower floor. They hold it up in place. has been running for almost a year with no problems. I liked them so much that I bought a second set in black for a different iPad mounting situation. I recommend first sticking a line of tape on the wall (through the wall in the mounting area) and using a spirit level to make sure the line of tape is level at the top, then you can use the line of tape as a top (or bottom) reference point where you want to glue them. I also used a spirit level to make sure the "brackets" were pointing straight up against the wall as well. I think you could use light pencil marks on the painted wall, but I didn't want lines left on the shower wall after pasting, so I used masks and tape to create vertical and horizontal assembly lines.

Pros
  • COMPATIBILITY NOTICE. While it fits most popular tablets, the feet of the mount can block the ports/buttons on either side from 1.5" to 3.75" from the bottom (7" to 8" tablets like the iPad Mini could block the ports in landscape mode - see our Koala Mount 2.0 if that might be a problem.)
Cons
  • No form required
