Review on ✂️ WORX WX822L 9 Cordless Detail Sander: Power and Precision Combined by Daniel Shivashankar

Broken battery bay

I have several Worx tools and have been buying them since the beginning. Never had much trouble with their instruments. The battery compartment is oversized. The first half goes well, then it takes a lot of pressure to lock it with the original Worx battery. Once inside, that's for sure. I had to fight the grinder by holding the release button and pulling it out in all directions. Now imagine having to do this every time a hot, sunny day drove me crazy. I have so many Worx batteries that I'd rather keep the grinder to myself than try to return it and order another one to risk the same problem. So I sanded the inside of the sander tracks first. It was useless. I then used a different brand of grinder "lol" to grind the track rails. This is just the back side but I completely sanded it on both sides. Looks like I overdid it, no big deal as the caterpillar only guides the battery pack in place for the locking notch. It looks ugly but now it works fine. Glides as it should, not sticky at all and now comes off perfectly.
