Review on πŸ” Discover the ELEGOO Mega R3 Project Ultimate Starter Kit – Complete with TUTORIAL for Arduino IDE by Jessica Morris

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great all in one kit for anyone involved in robotics/programming/electronics. The CD files are available on the elegoo website.

First off, if you're just starting out with this material, this set is a great place to start. If you're looking for more amazing results and more satisfaction, a robot car kit might be your best option, but for craftsmanship and creativity, it's great! It really is a kit for anyone with an interest in this kind of thing, from your more advanced kids to your regular prototyping engineers. Also note, IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CD DRIVE, ALL THE FILES ARE AVAILABLE ON ELEGOO.COM! :) The product was received quickly and quickly. It even comes in a nicely organized plastic box with quality clasps on the hinges. In case you don't know there is no difference between Elegoo and Arduino, both boards are the same and open source from different manufacturers. Elegoo essentially remakes the exact open source Arduino modules. So if you're trying to save money, be sure to choose Elegoo! There are minor differences between the Mega 2560 and the Uno (various popular modules you can find), but these differences don't affect most people, especially beginners. Advanced users might be interested in the differences. So if you're interested, you can find them on the Arduino forums (the rest of this text provides information on the differences between Mega and Uno for the more technical user). "Arduino Uno is an ATmega328-based microcontroller board (data sheet), has 14 digital I/Os (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, a USB header, a power connector, to ICSP and a reset button. .Uno differs from all previous boards in that it doesn't use an FTDI USB-to-Serial driver chip, but an Atmega16U2 (Atmega8U2 before R2) programmed as USB-to-Serial. The Arduino Mega 2560 is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega2560 (data sheet), has 54 digital I/Os (15 of which can be used as PWM outputs), 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), 16 MHz crystal oscillator, USB -Connector, power connector, ICSP header and T button Mega is compatible with most boards designed for Arduino Duemilanove or Diecimila. The Mega 2560 is an update to the Arduino Mega it replaces. "
