I put tape on the rim of a Mulefut 80 Sunringle fat bike. The initial installation went smoothly until one cold evening when the tape lost adhesion and leaked through the rim tape all over the wheel. The second setup worked fine for a few days until a hot day came (sunlight heated the tire and gases and dirt in the tire) and the tape failed again. Wheel prep included cleaning and drying with alcohol. Instructions and installation are carefully followed.
