I installed it myself. Yes, I'm a woman, I don't have a plumbing degree and I'm not a spring chicken, but I had no problem installing this faucet. The instructions were clear and concise. It took 4.5 hours to remove the old faucet due to the unusual connector, for which I could not find a video or even a photo on the network. (Many words of power were said, and I got a black eye from dropping a giant crescent-shaped wrench on my forehead during surgery.) I had to rip out the entire sink to see how I could pull the faucet off. However, installing the new one only took about 30 minutes, including time to gather tools and re-read each step as we proceeded. It was very simple and easy. I was waiting to review this faucet as I had complained of leaks, sticky knobs, overspray etc in previous reviews. I took the risk anyway and ordered one and am very glad I did. there were no leaks. I'm not a plumber, but I can read (and follow) directions. My faucet isn't dripping. Period.* Someone noticed their Power Boost button is stuck. As soon as I turn mine on, it stays on until I turn off the water. As soon as the water shuts off, the power boost button happily pops up again. This appears to be a feature, not a problem, but that's just my opinion as I haven't seen any documentation on the subject. * Someone complained that this faucet was spouting more than usual. With my steady aerated stream, it only squirts when I turn on the power boost and bring the "pull stick" very close to the object I'm watering. In other words, I have to work on making it squirt. However, when I use spray mode, especially power boost mode, the water can splash, but every faucet I've ever used tends to splash when in spray mode. Anyhow, I personally don't think spatter is a problem with this faucet.* I really like the matte finish of Spot Resist Stainless. It's really stain resistant.* I like the gooseneck. I can easily fill my giant pressure cooker in the sink. I couldn't do that with my old faucet.* I love the spare cartridge in the pen. I bought this style because of the poor design of the previous faucet; it couldn't be repaired.* I love the lifetime limited warranty.* I love how beautiful and functional it is.
