I had to return this item. It fits into the track on the underside of my 1993 metal Stanley door, but the door would not close with it. The original Stanley lower door seal had a few ribs but no bulb on either edge like the MD, and the bulb on the outside caught on the sill when I tried to close the door. I bought a Frost King gasket for a Stanley door and it works great. Frost King is also suitable for the track, but only has a few fins and a lightbulb on one edge. When the bulb is mounted on the inside of the door, the ribs slide over the sill and then the bulb seals against the back of the sill. The MD is a well-made seal, but my Stanley doors don't have enough space between the sill and the bottom of the door to fit a lightbulb.
