InSinkErator H-WaveSN-SS Involve Wave Instant Hot Water System The product works as expected, but I have a few caveats for anyone considering buying it: 1) It's LOUD. About every hour or so, the unit heats the water and I can hear it from across the room, even when it's under my sink with the closet doors closed. It's a bit like a truck driving past a house a block away. The manufacturer says to lower the temp, but mine now only releases about 160 degrees of water. If I lower it even further, what's the point? 2) The faucet doesn't stop immediately when the handle is released - it continues to drip for a second or two. Be careful because you don't want to drip 200 degree water on your hand! 3) Installation was pretty easy, but the lines from the faucet are about 16 inches long and cannot be extended. This can severely limit placement under the sink. Not everyone has a completely open void, as the manufacturer shows in every picture and drawing. Since my sink is on an island, I have a disposer and drain, so I had to remove both before installing the unit. 4) The mounting hole diameter must be 1-1/2", NOT 1-1/4". I had to use a hand file and then a grinding wheel on my drill to widen the hole in my granite counter - no fun! Otherwise, I'm still glad I have it.
