Review on Wireless Router ASUS WL-520GU by Celina Agnieszka Zdz ᠌

A bad product, not worth the money.

After purchasing this miracle, we take a file and refine it, and only THEN do we obtain a device that is functional, at least to some extent. The term "file" refers to a different firmware (I settled on dd-wrt). Simply do entirely other kinds of indicators with it, in addition to the functionality itself. Vopschem Asus does not make any products in this category that get my recommendation. There are two Asus models (WL-500G and WL-520G) and one D-Link model that are used for networking at the workplace (dir-300). There are also persistent issues with Asus, and the first and second of these issues simply prevent clients from connecting to the wafer and from gaining access to the administrative panel; the only solution is to restart the device. Everything would be good, but in order to reboot, you will need to exert a great deal of effort on your part because they do not dangle within the reach of a hand that is extended. D-link distributes the Internet while quietly rustling papers amongst itself. If you want to take a router home with you in the direction of Asus, Vopschem, I do not recommend looking. The DIR-615 is, in my opinion, the greatest choice.

Pros
  • The only downsides are the cost and the way it looks. Purchased a very long time ago, most likely around three years ago. In general, if surfing is considered to be foolish, then it is considered to be normal.
Cons
  • It is not capable of handling torrents; the percentage is fairly low, and it restarts itself often. Reduced speeds come with the default firmware. A maximum of two to two and a half megabits per second can be achieved by faffing through it within the network (not to be confused with Mbps). Via Ethernet, a top speed of 5-6 MB/s is possible. USB is nothing more than a printer. Recently, it has become impossible to reflash via the administrator panel; the only other option is to utilize the Asus firmware recovery application.
