These dice are awesome! We've had them for a few months now and my 2 year old still plays with them every day. For those with a 2 year old, you know how impressive this is. I think the fun factor is because: 1) they are BLOCKS. It's fun to stack blocks. It's fun to shoot them down. This is an open toy. No further explanation is needed. 2) You are BIG! We have larger blocks which means they stack very high. And you know how it is - the higher the stack, the lower they fall! 3) They are bright and cheerful. We got the colorful set primarily because it was cheaper, but I'm so glad we did. I originally wanted a blue set or an earth tone set but I'm so glad we went with the colors. They add color to our play area and catch our son's attention. What kid doesn't love colors? 4) They are firm enough to hold their shape when (the baby) sits on them, but soft enough to bounce off the baby's head. They also don't break when thrown and don't punch a hole in the wall. 5) The material covering the foam blocks is of excellent quality. There was no gas release. It's durable even when played rough, it feels smooth and soft, but it also has a bit of grip so they stack nicely. Yes they are a bit more expensive for a set of blocks but given the above. , they are really worth their price, especially considering how many games you get from them. I expect to use them for years to come and when we're done with them I'm sure I'll be able to pass them on to another family. you are so big
