The Franklin Sensors ProSensor M50 Professional Spike Finder didn't fit me. It shows the middle of the top well. However the rod finder was overly sensitive as the three LEDs in the center would sometimes stay on when placed against a wall and the button pressed to turn it on as if the rod finder was on top of the rod. But this was not the case. I also have another Franklin spike finder (with more LEDs) that doesn't give false alarms like the M50. (A Franklin with more LEDs is a little off true center, so I'm looking for one that handles that better). Maybe I have a bug and trying again will fix the problem. I won't know as I've decided to just go back and look for another Thornfinder. In the end I was disappointed with the performance of the Franklin Sensors ProSensor M50 professional spike finder and gave it 2 stars.
