I wasn't sure if I should buy this cutlery not only because I thought the price was a bit high but also because of it the low reviews i have read. I'm glad I made the purchase. I haven't had any of the problems encountered with 1 star reviews. I've washed them both by hand and in the dishwasher and had no discoloration and none of the meats (chicken and shrimp) turned black. The portion sizes are large because I bought them to train myself to eat smaller portions without surgery. Very glad I made the purchase in a sleepy state otherwise I would not have bought it.
