I installed this on my F250 because a rear view camera makes life so much more comfortable these days. Especially with the big truck and our trailer. A two-person job quickly becomes a one-person job. As far as this kit is concerned the instructions are decent and if you've ever changed your car stereo it's no big deal. If you've never experienced anything like this, watch a few installation videos and you should be able to handle it. I wish the cable from the camera to the transmitter was longer, I could mount it under one of my bed rails. So I attached it to the bed frame support under the left rear turn signals. Duct tape, some pliers, an electrical crimping tool, some extra zip ties for routing wires (and possibly tying the transmitter to your car, plus any tools you need to remove studs/screws from your license plate monitor, I can do that at The future 12v cigarette lighter plug has an on/off switch which is good so you don't have to unplug it all the time Overall this is a great rear camera kit for the price.
