This is a really well made bargain priced iMac stand. As in photo it’s holding my 27” iMac no problem at all. No shaking as another reviewer mentioned. Maybe he lives on a fault line? All pieces lined up perfectly, The screws threaded in no problem, and they gave you two extra screws in case you lose one, or in case maybe the threading on one of them is not perfect, which again was not the case. Then, I pressed the thicker gray rubber strip into place with a slight bit of pressure, and it pushed right in very firm holding the lip of the iMac base perfectly. I’m putting a stereo amp on my desk, and this adjustable base means it can go at the back of the amp, and still hold the iMac high enough above the app so I don’t have to rest the iMac directly on the app which I would not do. Just make sure to tighten the screw firmly into place when supporting heavier screens like the iMac, and you are good to go. If they could have done anything better, the knob could have been bigger to give you some more leverage. This thing rocks.
