Review on πŸ”₯ Wagner ThermoQuiet QC1444 Ceramic Brake Pad Set for Enhanced Performance by Christopher Tillman

Revainrating 1 out of 5

After 3 attempts to disassemble and clean

These pads squeak at every stop. Add me to the long list of non-believers on noise reviews. We took the tires off, removed the brake fittings and cleaned the discs, clips and pads several times, after 3 days the squeaking is back. Anytime I see a large accumulation of brake "stuff" rather than dust collecting under the pad and looking like it can't get out, that's what's causing the noise. These are not rotors of a machine or plant. Clips, this is a 2013 Kia Optima and this was the first time I replaced the front brakes. I put the old ones back in to see what the problem was and they didn't squeak after being on for over a week, not once. I get new pads from the supplier I should have chosen. I have used the Wagner on three other cars we own and find them to have good stopping power and smoothness but this is a nightmare. They did something wrong with them and I will write about them to get a refund. There is a way for many people to report the same problem with the same product model, these are not people. Wagner should recall and remove this product. I will no longer be buying Wagner pads for our 5 cars that I am servicing. As Wagner has shown, they will not endorse their product.
