I then replaced

What can I say - it fitted perfectly so it drove easily, there is no noise, the car stalls when you step on the brake pedal. I did not use the included mounting hardware and instead reused the inner metal washers from the old pads. Installed on Hyundai Sonata 2011. Update: It's been a while and I have to say my opinion of them has dropped. They often make noise and I will replace them as soon as possible. 2nd update: removed and switched to Monroe DX1444. These are semi-metal pads and the…

Braking Performance - Braking System

Wagner TQ brakes are terrible this time. This is 3 sets of this brand. The first set was incredibly loud and it was the first brake work on my car. Bought it brand new. I sent them back and received a better replacement pair. Second brake work 105,000 miles, tried the same brand of Wagner TQ and they are worse than the first. Creaking noise in the front right when braking hard. And for the first time I start driving in the morning and drive to work, it feels and sounds like it's rubbing in the…

good stopping power. Terribly loud squeak

First, these brakes work as brakes with good stopping power. So let's get that out of the way. The reason for my bad rating is that even though they have the word "quiet" in their name, they are not quiet at all. In my arrogance I ignored the other reviews on here, thinking maybe people didn't know what they were doing. But unfortunately they were right and I was wrong. In my experience they squeak very loudly under light braking. Strangely, they are quiet under hard braking. I have removed the

After 3 attempts to disassemble and clean

These pads squeak at every stop. Add me to the long list of non-believers on noise reviews. We took the tires off, removed the brake fittings and cleaned the discs, clips and pads several times, after 3 days the squeaking is back. Anytime I see a large accumulation of brake "stuff" rather than dust collecting under the pad and looking like it can't get out, that's what's causing the noise. These are not rotors of a machine or plant. Clips, this is a 2013 Kia Optima and this was the first time I
