Very comfortable, soft elk leather inside and outside; an amazing amount of support including some arch support and cushioning in the sole while still being soft. The extra cushions that make them "driving shoes" also make it a pleasure to stand or walk on hard, cold, or rough floors, which would be uncomfortable barefoot, but still in luxurious, lightweight, soft moccasins. Ordered my shoe size for the first time. but I found them too small, just a whole size bigger for me - with or without light socks. I haven't had them long enough to confirm their durability, but they seem well made from good materials. In fact, these are moccasins. - light weight, soft sole, simple stitching - therefore, of course, you cannot expect them to withstand walking on city sidewalks or dirt roads; and all moccasins have a weak point (where the upper attaches to the body) that gets stressed with every step, which in my experience eventually breaks.
