I haven't scratched my windshield since I started using my Chanvi. My Tahoe is outside 100% of the time in Wisconsin winter weather and the windshield cover does the job. It took me a few times to put it on to get the feel for it, but it quickly became very easy. The wind can make dressing difficult, but finding the side the wind is blowing from first helps a lot.
