This sealing wax melts well, drips easily onto paper and the rest of the stick is a good tool to spread and move in a neat circle. As some have noted, it looks a bit like plastic and is a bit stickier than other sealing waxes when pressed. But if you pre-moisten the filling a little, that should alleviate the situation. The color is pleasant, the wax dries evenly and remains flexible. This is very beneficial, especially when you need to seal a lot of envelopes, Christmas cards, wedding invitations or bottles. On the other hand, if you are more of a purist who only seals private correspondence, you might like higher quality and more expensive sealing wax. For this reason I have an assortment of sealing waxes in different price ranges.
