Didn't fit for the first use

I noticed in reviews that silicone seals don't fit, but since my exact model is listed as suitable, I said to myself, then I'll be fine. As mentioned by other reviewers, it's too big. I have MODEL PPC772. I let my pressure cooker pressurize for 40 minutes and returned to it to see it blowing steam all over the lid and water pouring all over the counter. I turned it off I removed the cover and checked the ring. It was still too loose. For some strange reason I decided to take it off and wash it again, but when I put it back on I noticed that it was a tighter fit. I just poured water into the pressure cooker to see what would happen. Well he pressured and sealed. I'm thinking maybe because the way it's packaged might help get it working with just water the first time. let it be good and hot Then let cool. It seemed like he was pulling himself up and all the curves in him disappeared because he was wrapped in a rubber band. It was rounder than it should have been. It's definitely a noticeable improvement in quality over what originally came with my cooker. I think if you notice your stove is a little loose when you put it on, just leave it on and run. a plate of just water, which gets the ring nice and hot to change shape. Let it cool and then try to cook with it. It definitely got me fit after heating it up, then cooling it down, then trying again.
