Valuable solution!
I had different types of cabinets with different types of locks. The ones I had where the lock was in the grip were incredibly complex and not worth the time to change the cam. These handles with a built-in lock seemed to come in handy. I was able to get it working, but it wasn't as easy as I had hoped. I ended up using parts of the old handle with the new handle to get the locking mechanism working properly. Understand, there are no blank keys in the home depot.
