Review on KYB 344479 Excel G Gas Shock by Dorian Bharadwaj

I ordered these shocks because after 8 years of service my 2004 Quest wasn't as smooth as it used to be. I just did some serious preventative maintenance on it and wanted it to feel like new again. It was a quick job and I did it in my garage with a jack and stand. My only concern is that I had to reuse the shock mounting plate and it was a bit rusty but still solid. I had to reuse the bushings and dust cover. So when you get a shock mounting kit that includes these items, you may think it's worth the cost. I can see the difference in the ride and my old shocks can compress and not come back so it was worth a small amount of time and money.
